Weekend workshop

We will explore the history surrounding the use of icons. You will create your own icon based on traditional icon making techniques. The workshop will cover preparation, painting, symbolism and gilding effects. We will integrate making with plenty of discussion. By the end of the weekend you will take home your own completed icon.
